Tonight! Taste of Somerville 2013
Somerville is America’s hippest city, and that’s in no small part thanks to being Boston’s hotbed of new restaurant openings. Try dishes from 35 of them, all in one place, including beer and wine samples, while donating to RESPOND Inc. — the nation’s second oldest domestic violence agency — tonight at this year’s Taste of Somerville.
Hosted by the Somerville Chamber of Commerce at the Holiday Inn on Washington Street (just blocks from the Sullivan Square Orange Line station), Taste of Somerville happens from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and tickets are just $35 at the door (online tickets have ended). A portion of all proceeds go directly to RESPOND.
Participating restaurants include hotspots Highland Kitchen, Daddy Jones, just-opened Bronwyn, Casa B, Amsterdam Falafel, Flatbread Pizza, Redbones BBQ, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Kickass Cupcakes, Dave’s Fresh Pasta, Q’s Nuts and Taza Chocolate, just to name a few!
Hope to see you there — and follow @TasteofSomervil on Twitter for updates (their websites all seem to be down & no Facebook page was readily found).
