Another scorcher this weekend means another chance to score free, sweet summer treats! Plus a beach party and a literal chance to frolic in the flowers at a Pinterest-worthy conservation area on the North Shore.

As we say in Boston, “It’s a wicked scorcher out there.”
With no signs of cooling down, for at least a few more days, we’ve got options: embrace it and sweat it out outdoors in the name of free fun; hibernate in the AC; or head for the water.
Seriously, it’s a scorcher out there. You know that feeling when you take an ice cold shower and, feeling refreshed, walk outside and are immediately sweaty and gross again? That’s today in Boston. It’s hot. Damn hot.
Between the first annual weeklong free arts/music/food festival downtown, Bastille Day celebrations in Back Bay and at the MFA, enough free fitness classes to get your butt in bikini shape by your next beach getaway, and Harborfest on the waterfront and Greenway, there’s absolutely zero excuse for staying home and crying broke.
