Narragansett's 3rd Annual Tie Design Contest

You don't have to be from New England to enjoy the traditional (and, in my humble opinion, best in the bargain class) pale ale taste of a Narragansett "tall boy." Beer snobs say what you will, but Narragansett is not only experiencing a major resurgence in popularity with the hipsters (so hold on to your cans, Pabst Blue Ribbon), it's also popular with longtime supporters for its annual, collectible silk ties and authentically retro designs.

Now through January 22nd, aspiring designers can get in on the action by submitting a take on this tradition in the 3rd Annual Narragansett Tie Design Contest. Bragging rights aside, the cash prizes make it worth the while: first place is $300; second place prize is $200; third place prize is $100; plus all finalists (21 or older, of course) will receive a free case of Narragansett beer for their efforts.
