The second that summer officially arrives in Boston, the city explodes in a simultaneous celebration of cheap thrills: burgers and beers while hanging outdoors (be it a stoop, driveway, deck, park, or something sandier); lobster rolls or fried clams from a shack or a food truck; sundresses, shorts, and flip-flops; and everyone, I mean everyone, makes a beeline for the water.
